Gender, Religion and Conflict Conference

November 14 @ 9:00 am - November 15 @ 5:00 pm

Taking place at Nottingham Trent University on the 14th and 15th of November 2024, the Gender, Religion and Conflict conference presents doctoral students and early career researchers with the opportunity to share their research relating to the conference themes, with papers spanning from 11th century religious contention, early modern gender and Catholicism to studies of contemporary female leadership in the financial sector. A keynote lecture will be provided by Dr Natasha Hodgson (Nottingham Trent University).

The two-day conference will run from 9am-4pm on the 14th and 15th of November, with two days of complimentary lunches and an optional complimentary cave tour on the afternoon of Friday 15th of November. (Please note that cave tour spaces are limited to 25 so we ask for those interested to express this on the booking form, this does not confirm a place on the cave tour, you will be contacted on the 30th of October with confirmation of a place on the tour).

We will also be holding an informal conference dinner on Thursday 14th of November, the venue has not yet been confirmed for this but once again, we would encourage attendees to register their interest for this on the booking form. The dinner is not complimentary and will be paid for on a price per head basis.
