Schools History Project: UNEARTHED2: Medicine and Gardening

TMW’s Natasha Hodgson will be speaking at an upcoming online seminar with the Schools History Project.
Entitled Unearthed 2, this seminar covers the role of gardening in the history of medicine.
Speakers include:
- Dr Natasha Hodgson (NTU) providing a keynote on women, medicine and gardening in the medieval world.
- Dr Caitriona Ní Cassaithe (Assistant Professor in History Education) speaking on her work with primary students on traditional medical knowledge in Ireland
- Salma Ishaq (Regent High School) talking about her work with Natasha Hodgson on women, gardening and medicine
- Paula Ogun Hector (Tapestry of Black Britons) sharing her interdisciplinary approach to the topic
- Debbie Bogard (British Library) and Barbara Trapani (SHP) will also be exploring source material related to Medieval herbal
