SUMMARY:Schools History Project Teaching Medieval Women at the British Library
DESCRIPTION:The Schools History Project and Teaching Medieval Women will be running a half-day event at the British Library aimed at History A Level students and their teachers. \nThe event will comprise of: \n\nA workshop for A Level students using source material from the exhibition\nKeynote presentations from the Teaching Medieval Women team\, including Professor Jonathan Phillips (Royal Holloway University of London)\, Dr Natasha Hodgson (Nottingham Trent University) and Dr Elena Woodacre (University of Winchester)\, looking at women and power\, religion and movement\nRoundtable discussion on teaching medieval women in schools\nLive music from Kate Arnold\n\nThe event includes free entry to the British Library’s Medieval Women: In Their Own Words exhibition. \nTo claim your free ticket\, please email d.lyndon-cohen@leedstrinity.ac.uk.
