Queen Seondeok of Silla’s Astronomy Tower

Cheomseongdae is the world's oldest surviving astronomy tower built in the reign of Queen Seondeok of Silla (in modern-day Korea).

This tower was built in the 7th century CE during the reign of Queen Seondeok of Silla (632-647).
