Natasha Hodgson presented the lecture 'Dangerous Journeys: Framing Women’s Movement in the Medieval World' at the Royal Historical Society.

On 7 February 2025, Natasha Hodgson presented the lecture ‘Dangerous Journeys: Framing Women’s Movement in the Medieval World’ at the Royal Historical Society. In this lecture she tackled traditional notion that medieval women were restricted in their movement, highlighting the range of ways, voluntarily and involuntarily, women moved throughout the medieval world. She also used the lecture to highlight the Teaching Medieval Women project and the importance of bringing examples of medieval women into school teaching and assessments.
